Safe, healthy and sustainable

Cofely is dedicated to good working conditions, safety, health and sustainability. This is shown in a low Injury Frequency (3.17 IF per billion working hours), low absenteeism (4.65% in 2011) and awards relating to safety, which have been presented by clients. 

Within GDF SUEZ, we have implemented the ‘Quality of life at work’ programme. This programme focuses on good HR policy, in which our people are provided the optimum conditions to function well now and in the future. 

We also want to use recruitment, training and interaction within Cofely to ensure that everyone in the company becomes and remains aware of the importance of thinking and acting sustainably – for themselves, for the company and for society.  That’s why, within Cofely, we draw attention to sustainability in various ways. For example, we organise webinars about sustainability, hold environmental audits for ISO 14001 and participate in IUCN’s Leaders For Nature programme.
