Phasing out cooling substance R22: an optimal and sustainable solution
From 1 January 2010, it will no longer be permissible to top up existing cooling, freezing and air conditioning installations filled with R22 (Freon®) with new R22 cooling substances (HCFKs). From 2015, you will no longer be able to use any R22 or the R22 mixed service cooling substances at all. This is an extremely good decision for our living climate.
