Traffic congestion in the Netherlands is increasing all the time. And more asphalt does not automatically reduce the number of traffic jams. The waterways are also crowded. Traffic management systems and installations

Many specialists work on flow at Cofely Energy & Infra. Their daily work is to make roads and waterways more available. Cofely created the Traffic Management Centre in Rhoon. We are also designing, building and maintaining all the technical installations for a new tunnel on the A2 motorway. With our operations we are contributing to:

Better use of the existing infrastructure. With cameras and traffic management systems, the traffic on roads and waterways can be remotely monitored and regulated. Where traffic is heavy or where an incident has occurred, an operator can take measures and offer alternative routes.

Overview and control. Traffic management systems provide information which show up bottlenecks and work to ease them.
