Cofely challenges master’s students at TU Delft
Cofely is challenging master’s students at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) to think about innovative solutions to reduce energy consumption. Via the Delft University Foundation Fund, Cofely has reserved 2,500 euros for the five most innovative ideas.
Master’s students at TU Delft or students who completed their master’s degree in 2009 at TU Delft are eligible for the award, on the condition that they can show that they have an innovative idea in the field of energy efficiency and sustainability using their project, thesis or research report. The theses must be submitted to the University Fund by 1 February 2010.
The jury will evaluate all submissions on the following aspects: Originality, level of innovation, applicability of the topic and social relevance. They are also tested against Cofely’s core values: passionate, involved, daring and united.
The five students with the most innovative ideas will receive the ‘Ufd-Cofely Energy Efficiency Award’ of 2,500 euros!

University fund
The Delft University Foundation Fund is a foundation that works, independently of TU Delft, but in close cooperation with the Executive Board and professors, to advance and support study and research at TU Delft.
For students this means that, among other things, the University Fund awards subsidies for study association activities, thesis internships or work abroad, symposia, study tours etc. In addition to subsidies, the Delft University Foundation Fund presents annual awards, including the ‘Ufd-Cofely Energy Efficiency Award’.
