Cofely now also certified with SCIOS 7a and 7b

Since June 2009, Cofely has been certified to inspect fuel lines up to and including 0.5 bar (scope 7a) and fuel lines above 0.5 bar (scope 7b). This makes Cofely the first installation company in The Netherlands to be certified with both SCIOS scope 7a and 7b.

According to the Activities Decree (Activiteitenbesluit), combustion plants with a capacity of more than 100kW both in utilities and industry must periodically be inspected.

By receiving these SCIOS certifications, Cofely becomes one of the few companies in the Netherlands to be authorised to inspect natural gas pipelines. This gives Cofely a unique position. Cofely has been certified to inspect combustion plants for a longer time. Now that we can also perform inspections of low and high-pressure gas lines, Cofely can offer a total package of legally required inspections.
