New name for GTI: Cofely

Technical service provider GTI is changing its name to Cofely. All the service companies in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, England, Spain and Italy that currently fall under GDF SUEZ Energy Services will be included in the name change. GTI subsidiaries Fabricom Oil & Gas and Axima Services will also proceed under the Cofely name.

With this new name, GTI shows that it is part of a powerful, international energy and service group. GDF SUEZ Energy Services is the European market leader in the field of sustainable solutions for energy and the environment via multitechnical services in the field of engineering, installations, maintenance and management. As part of the French company GDF SUEZ, a global player in the field of energy, GDF SUEZ Energy Services has approximately 80,000 employees and realised a turnover of 14 billion euros in 2008.

The new name will be introduced in stages in all company divisions in Europe, starting with France and England; the other countries will follow. Before the end of the year, the Cofely name will be implemented everywhere.
