A total solution for the whole production process

Boerenbond Deurne compound feed cooperative has production facilities in Helmond, Wanroij and Oirschot. They were looking for a total solution for the control of the entire compound feed production process for the site in Helmond. From receipt of raw materials to milling, mixing, pressing into granules and loading the trucks. For this, Boerenbond Deurne formerly used several software packages and licences.

Single software platform

Thanks to the Cofely MES Toolbox the whole production process is now controlled with one software platform. Item and formula management, quality measurement, journey planning, maintenance logging and asset management are now organised using a single application. The Cofely MES Toolbox controls altogether:

• 10 reception points for raw materials
• 120 silos and tanks
• 32 mixing stations
• 6 pressing lines
• 2 loading bays

Asset Efficiency

• All essential functions in a single system. In this way, software purchase and upkeep costs are lower.
